Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This page is maintained by Vanguard Computers to set out the terms on which we sell custom PCs and related services. It is not legal advice; if you need help interpreting these terms, please contact us or seek independent legal guidance.

1. About us

Vanguard Computers is a UK system integrator based at 17 North John Street, Apartment 36, Liverpool L2 5AA. You can reach us at customer.support@vanguard-computers.co.uk. These Terms apply to any order you place through our website at https://vanguard-computers.co.uk.

2. Orders and acceptance

When you submit an order, you are making an offer to buy the products and services in your build summary. We accept your order only when we confirm it by email and take payment, or when we begin building a custom system, whichever comes first. We reserve the right to decline an order for any lawful reason, including stock shortages, misconfiguration, or suspected fraud.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices shown on the site include UK VAT at the applicable rate unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and added to the order total. We use Stripe to process card payments. Payment must be authorised before we begin production. If a payment fails, we may cancel the order after a reasonable period.

4. Custom builds

Custom PCs are assembled to your specification from the components you select. Because they are made to order, custom systems are not standard off-the-shelf products. Once production has started, the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations may be limited — see our Refund Policy for details.

5. Delivery and risk

We aim to dispatch pre-configured builds within the timeframe shown on the product page. Custom build lead times are estimates and depend on component availability and our validation queue. Delivery is to the address you provide at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you once the goods are delivered; title passes once we receive full payment.

6. Warranty and support

New systems come with a return-to-base warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the period stated at checkout. Individual components may also carry the manufacturer’s own warranty. Warranty cover does not extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, overclocking beyond validated limits, or accidental damage. Lifetime technical support is provided on a best-efforts basis for as long as we continue to trade.

7. Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant products and services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
